Department Mission Statement
The Indigenous Ministry of the Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a ministry that works towards helping where we can, to make the lives of the Indigenous people better. We work towards justice for them, healing of their wounds and reconciliation.
We have a growing relationship with the Indigenous people of Northwest Ontario in partnership with Adventist World Aviation. Our Cessna airplane serves to distribute non-perishable food and other needed supplies to the many reserves.
Currently, we are working on a clean water project which will provide filtered water fountains to the clinic, school and community Centre in Sioux Lookout and other locations.
