Communion in Action: Global Youth Day at Apple Creek
Posted: April 8th, 2026

On March 21, 2026, in celebration of Global Youth Day, about 30 young people from Apple Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church visited the homes of members who could not attend worship due to health challenges. Before setting out, everyone gathered at the church and prayed earnestly that through this small act of service, the Lord would bring comfort and blessings to each home they visited. We united our hearts, hoping that our steps would be more than simple visits, but a channel through which God’s love could be shared.
Divided into five teams, the youth visited each home, singing songs of praise, praying together, and offering short words of encouragement. As they listened to stories of members who had faithfully loved the church and walked with God for many years, it became a meaningful, grace-filled time to reflect on how faithfully God had led them throughout their lives.
In a special way, the testimonies of faith shared in each home deeply moved and challenged the youth as well. Remembering the “Ebenezer” moments of God’s guidance, they were reminded once again of His faithfulness working across generations. Although the visits began with the intention of bringing comfort, they became a day when the youth themselves returned with greater blessings, renewed faith, and grateful hearts.
