Featuring Brent Hardinge, AMC 2026 Workshop Presenter
February 18, 2026 | AMC Planning Committee | Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Ontario Conference Adventist Ministries Convention (AMC) is just around the corner! Hundreds of registered attendees are looking forward to learning from inspiring speakers and dynamic workshop presenters on March 13–14, 2026, at the Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel & Suites in Richmond Hill.
Among this year’s presenters is Brent Hardinge, a dedicated communicator passionate about helping the Church leverage technology to connect meaningfully with its community. Raised in Asia and on the West Coast of the United States, Brent is the son of a pastor/health educator and a nurse/musician—an upbringing that shaped his heart for ministry and mission.
Brent currently serves as Director of Adventist Connect (formerly Adventist Information Ministry) and as Assistant to the Vice President for Digital Media at the North American Division (NAD) of Seventh-day Adventists. In this role, he oversees the evangelistic engagement centre, the Frame website platform, and the Thrive interest management software, while supporting digital evangelism initiatives across the division.
Previously, Brent served at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, the North Pacific Union Conference, and the Upper Columbia Conference, where he developed websites and implemented technology solutions to strengthen the Church’s online presence.
Brent lives in Michigan with his wife and their three children.
Workshop: Growing Connections with Thrive: Turning Interests into Relationships
In this seminar, ministry leaders will discover how their local church can move from simply collecting names to nurturing genuine, lasting connections using Thrive Management Software—NAD’s new interest development and discipleship tracking platform.
Designed to help ministries manage, engage, and grow relationships within their communities, this workshop will equip participants with practical steps for organising contacts, tracking engagement, and empowering teams to follow up effectively. Whether you are a pastor, ministry leader, interest coordinator, or communication leader, you will leave with actionable tools to build a more connected, mission-driven church community.
