Windsor Seventh-day Adventist Church to Celebrate 110 Years of Faith and Mission
Posted: October 5th, 2026
The Windsor Seventh-day Adventist Church warmly invites former members, friends, and the wider Ontario Conference family to join us on October 16–17, 2026, as we celebrate 110 years of faith, community, and mission.
Organised in 1916, the Windsor congregation has journeyed through more than a century of change and growth while remaining committed to proclaiming the everlasting gospel and serving the Windsor-Essex community.
The anniversary weekend will feature two former Windsor pastors as guest speakers. Pastor Junior Garcia will speak on Friday evening, October 16, followed by Pastor Abraham Swamidas, who will deliver the message for the Sabbath celebration on October 17.
A special highlight of the anniversary will be the unveiling and permanent installation of a historical mural honouring the pastors, pioneers, and faithful members who helped shape the identity, culture, and mission of the Windsor Church through the generations. The mural will serve as a lasting reminder of the congregation’s rich heritage, connecting the pioneers of yesterday with today's multicultural church family and the mission that continues before us.
Come and celebrate God's faithfulness, reconnect with old friends, remember those who came before us, and look to the future with hope.
