The Ontario Conference Adventurer Council extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and supported the Adventurer Family Fun Day on July 26, 2026, at Camp New Lowell and the Metcalfe Fairgrounds in Ottawa.

We were truly blessed to welcome 550 Adventurers, family members, volunteers, and guests at Camp New Lowell, along with 250 participants at the Ottawa location, for a day filled with fellowship, fun, and unforgettable memories. United under the theme "Serving Others," families experienced the joy of building friendships while growing together in faith.

Most importantly, God answered our prayers. Although the weather forecast for Camp New Lowell was uncertain, the Lord blessed us with beautiful weather throughout the entire event, allowing every activity to take place safely and successfully. Only minutes after the event concluded did the rain begin to pour. We give God all the glory for His protection, His faithfulness, and His perfect timing.

One of the highlights of the day at Camp New Lowell was the exciting performance by the Hula Hoop Entertainers, who captivated children and adults alike with their energetic show and interactive activities. Laughter echoed across the campground as families enjoyed organized games, bouncy castles, acts of kindness challenges, and fellowship, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come.

At the Ottawa location, Adventurers were thrilled to welcome the firefighters from Metcalfe Fire Station. Their visit brought great excitement as the children learned about the important role firefighters play in serving their community and had the opportunity to express their appreciation for their dedication and service.

Throughout the day, Adventurers also completed the Community Helper Award and the Piñata Award, combining learning with hands-on fun and meaningful experiences.

Our hearts were especially touched by the generosity of our Adventurer families. Through financial contributions and donations of school supplies, they enthusiastically supported the upcoming mission trip to Jamaica. Their willingness to give so generously beautifully reflected this year's theme, “Serving Others,” demonstrating Christ's love through acts of kindness and compassion.

This memorable event would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of our volunteers, coordinators, club directors, staff, parents, and supporters. Your time, energy, and willingness to serve made a lasting impact on every child and family in attendance.
