Digital Outreach Day Set for October 10

At Pentecost, about 3,000 people responded to the gospel and were added to the church in one day (Acts 2:41). On Sabbath, October 10, Ontario Adventists have another opportunity to share the good news—this time across the digital mission field.

During our conference-wide Digital Outreach Day, every member is encouraged to use social media intentionally to share God’s Word, personal testimonies, and Christ-centred content with family, friends, and others in their online communities. Our goal is simple: to reach and impact at least 3,000 people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A Simple Formula

Imagine a church with 100 active members. If each member intentionally shares gospel content with just 30 people in their digital network, together they have the potential to reach 3,000 people in a single day.

And imagine what could happen if churches across Ontario participated together!

On October 10, we encourage every member to:

• WATCH Christ-centred Adventist content.
• LIKE and react to posts that share hope and truth.
• SHARE videos, reels, testimonies, and other gospel content.
• SUBSCRIBE or FOLLOW Adventist channels and social media accounts.
• COMMENT thoughtfully and engage in meaningful conversations.

Engagement matters. When people watch, share, save, and interact with content, social media platforms may recommend that content to wider audiences. But our goal is more than views or engagement. We want to move people from viewership to relationship—and ultimately to discipleship in Jesus Christ.

Today, billions of people around the world use social media. What a vast digital mission field! As a church, we must continue investing not only in face-to-face ministry but also in reaching people in the digital spaces where they connect, learn, ask questions, and search for hope.

On Sabbath, October 10, let us use our phones, tablets, and computers as tools for mission. Share God's Word. Tell your story. Encourage someone. Start a conversation. Invite someone to follow Jesus.

Together, under the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we can make a difference—one post, one share, one conversation, and one person at a time.
