A Dream Fulfilled: The Organisation of the Eben-Ezer Adventist Church
Posted: April 29th, 2026

Sabbath, April 25, 2026, will remain a significant milestone in the history of the Eben-Ezer Adventist community. After two postponements, the long-cherished dream of seeing the Eben-Ezer company officially organised into a church has finally become a reality. The ceremony took place in an atmosphere filled with deep emotion and gratitude to God.
The day began with a meaningful worship service. Dr. Mansfield Edwards delivered a powerful message from the Word of God, preparing hearts and minds for this significant moment in the life of the congregation. His sermon deeply moved the assembly and served as a reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness to His people.
In the afternoon, several church leaders from the Ontario Conference were present, adding to the occasion's significance. The President, Pastor Jakov Bibilović, formally entrusted responsibility to the newly organised church, following the administrative organisation led by Pastor Sereivudh Ly, Director of Church Planting, Revitalisation, and Evangelism. Pastor Frankie Lazarus, Ministerial Secretary, then offered a prayer of consecration. Also present were Pastor Raul Gonzales, Associate Ministerial Secretary; Pastor James Rooney, Property Management Associate Director; Dalu Sifani, Associate Treasurer; and Pastor Nephtaly Dorzilmé, Eastern Ontario Regional Coordinator. Each extended a warm welcome to the new church, embracing it into the sisterhood of churches within the Ontario Conference.
Special recognition was given to Pastor Josué Manigat, the former pastor of the congregation, whose dedication and vision played a vital role in achieving this milestone. At present, Pastor Germain Jean-Pierre is serving as the church's interim pastor.
The joy among the members was evident. What was once a distant hope has now become a reality. This day stands as a living testimony to what God can accomplish when His people walk in faith and perseverance. To God be the glory! We humbly ask for the continued prayers of our brothers and sisters, that this church may grow and, in time, give birth to new Adventist communities.
