A Day of Divine Fulfilment: Bolton Adventist Company Organised Into a Church
Posted: May 13th, 2026

April 4, 2026, will forever be etched in our hearts as a day of divine fulfilment. With voices raised in praise and hearts overflowing with gratitude, the Bolton Seventh-day Adventist Company was officially organised into a church at 3:30 p.m. This sacred ceremony was a vibrant testimony to God’s unwavering faithfulness.
We were blessed to have the Ontario Conference Administration lead this historic transition. Pastor Jakov Biblović, President, formally entrusted the mission to our new congregation, following the organisational leadership of Pastor Sereivudh Ly. The atmosphere was filled with the Holy Spirit as Pastor Frankie Lazarus, Ministerial Secretary, offered a fervent prayer of dedication. Alongside them, Virene Meikle, Treasurer; Pastor Raul Gonzales, Associate Ministerial Secretary; and Pastor Daviceto Swaby, Ontario Metro West Central Region Coordinator, extended a hand of fellowship, warmly welcoming the congregation into the sisterhood of churches.
We stand on the shoulders of visionary leaders—Pastors Lloyd Wilson, Frankie Lazarus, Andrew King, Mark Ewen, and Elder Owen Hamilton—whose seeds of faith have finally bloomed. Under the current leadership of Pastor Rowan Sewell, what was once a distant hope is now a living reality.
To God be the glory for this milestone of faith and perseverance! We humbly ask for your continued prayers as we seek to be a lighthouse in Bolton, praying that this church will one day give birth to even more communities for Christ.
Rowan Sewell
Pastor, Bolton Seventh-day Adventist Church
